the gamespy list is down cherokee , and most players cant find the server.



so i made this tutorial for you all to get quicker acces to the server , without gamespy.

They are updating the server and that is taking a couple of days, so nothing about officials that are going to stop the server because of new games that officially are due for end of this year....

why shutting down ,the older games duh , to introduce the newer games like they did



2 or 3 years a go when AIRBORNE came out , what a fiasco that was , i would update the



gamespy list if i was absolutly certan that the new games are a hit.

Dad is to be transfered to the Nursing Home my mom works at (part time) sometime today.

My turn to spend gas to go see him. For hospital it was 35 miles for mom, 5 Mins for me.



As for Brother... near 11 years older than me.... he has 5 grown Children/step children... and 3 grand kids so far. (and 2 ex wives -- u wonder y)



Dad keeps wanting to go Home... Mom keeps telling him "I can't lift you. You have to go to the Nursing Home till u get your Leg strength back"



Problem I see is that he is not realy trying to stand without help. He is not realy taking his own weight.

Hi....my SWATServer admins did some reading and here's his comments on this IP address server list connection problem.....

THis was posted yesterday.....



Just read up on some stuff and it seems EA are trying to stop us from

playing mohaa, and bt.

As you all know the ingame browser went down / is down

hlsw was playing up and gamespy and xfire too.

This is because EA want people to buy their new moh games like the new one

coming out for xbox soon.

So they cut the gamespy power from our mohaa so people cannot browse servers anymore

and all progames like hlsw are gamespy powered aswell which well render them useless.

Soon the only way to connect to a server will be if you know the ip. They hope this

will make people stop playing the game and move to the newer games, meaning they make

more money.

We dont want to let this happen, we want to keep mohaa going



SO PLEASE LOG ALL IP ADDRESS OF SERVERS YOU REGULARLY PLAY ON SO YOU CAN GET ON THEM.

The only thing they can stop is guests coming onto our server unless they see the ip on

the website or something else.



I am pretty certain they cannot close servers down as they are hosted by people,

not ea themselves.

Dad being moved to a regular room.

He was out of bed, in a chair for near an hour yesterday. (in pain)



He does need help getting in and out of bed.



Therapy is also to start... I feel sorry for therapy ppl at the hospital.



Mom is doing well, she already contacted the nursing home she works at for possible, tempoary, Therapy stay for dad. He knows the place and ppl there Know how far they can Push him, If needed.



I am not the Only Kid... and my Brother is driving me nuts ... he has Army Sargent back round and verbaly held me back from talking to dad a couple of times... and listening in to Medical information Doctors and nurses were giving to mom.



I hope the Old Lineman gets strong enough to tell his Son off. I wont do it myself in front of Mom and dad.... and I dont want to be alone with brother for fear of commiting Murder.

Surgery went well...

they found signs of possible existing infection so they did not add 2 rods that they had planned for.

The Neck Brace was also left to the side.



The Old Lineman is spending the night in ICU so they can monitor him.



Time will tell on many things...



Rehab is very possible though since Muscles that had not been getting signals b4 this will need to be trained back into service.

The Old Lineman has been to get a neck brace fitted that will be put in place once the surgery is completed.

He has also been to his Family Doctor for the Pre-surgical Physical.



Yesterday, all the pre-op tests were done, blood taken for lab tests and a Back x-ray.



Surgery Date is set at March 4th. He will be in the Hospital for at least 3 days after.



I will be there with my mom and have my Notebook computer handy.

(She and I do plan on a trip outside of the hospital during the operation to manage stress)



ATM -- Well my father does have Dementia. Keeps asking my mom when the surgery is and goes on about little things that have already been settled. A bit wearing on mom's nerves.
